Will Modi’s Grand Stature Overpower Rahul’s Gandhian Connection?

After experiencing the complete havoc of administration in India in the past few years of Congress rule, the 2014 Lok Sabha elections are eagerly awaited by the people. Whether the shooting prices or the increased terrorism, the government seems to have failed in showing its capability in any of the aspects.

The prime ministerial candidates from both the major parties BJP and Congress have been decided. The battle in 2014 elections will be between Rahul Gandhi of Congress and Narendra Modi of BJP. However, the overpowering stature of Modi which has mainly come in to focus with his progress model of Gujrat seems to be dominating even the Gandhian favour of Rahul Gandhi.

So, what can be the  favorable factors for Rahul Gandhi? The strongest point is his connection with Gandhi family and the second is that he doesn’t have any political tint apart from a few criticisms for his illogical comments. Far above all this, he is the son of Sonia Gandhi, the current president of Congress.

The year 2012 will always be remembered for Anna’s ansan and Kejriwal’s revolts which aroused the soul of every common person. Now, India doesn’t want just a name connected with a famous personality, but a person who has become famous for his deeds. Undoubtedly, Modi exceeds in all of this and comes out as a ray of hope in these difficult times of India.
