Recently, Rahul Gandhi was quoted as saying that he is not
interested in becoming the Prime Minister of India. Not only this, he also
added that he considered Manmohan Singh to be fit for the role. While talking
about his publicity for prime minister’s post in 2014 elections, he said that
he was given the responsibility of vice president of Congress and that was only
what he was interested in.
So, does this comment by Rahul Gandhi change the view of
Congress? As per the sources, the party is still firm on Rahul Gandhi’s
candidature for Prime minister’s post in 2014 elections. Whatever be the fact,
but Rahul Gandhi’s role as the Prime minister of India, if he gets a chance for
that, will prove the administrative role of Congress party under the Gandhi
title once again.
